silkscreen test 1.
I cleared the dust off my silkscreening supplies today. I grabbed an old screen I never washed off, found the letter that had partly inspired the drawing on it and pulled the ink on that. It was fitting and was reminded why it's important to feel passionate about things. I also documented the steps:

oh boy.

I have a six year old nephew who does nothing but draw. During dinner (he drew as he ate) I asked him to take a break from drawing his new favorite animal, whales (I now know all about narwhal whales, sperm whales, bowhead whales, etc) and draw a portrait of me instead. I compared it with my own self doodle and came to the realization that although his interpretation of me is much less forgiving, this little masterpiece is going in a frame.
