I bought this about a year ago when a friend of mine told me I would probably get inspired by this book. As soon as I bought it, I flipped through the pages for a good hour or two. He was right.
It's comprised entirely of real letters, dug up out of drawers, shoeboxes, whatever. Some are sappy love letters, some are full of bitterness and hate, some are just laugh-out-loud funny. Either way, they are all brutally honest. Each letter describes the intense and complex range of feelings you can feel all at once. And everyone can relate to that.
It's visually stimulating, too. It makes for a good coffee table book.
